Singing

Singing is Olivia’s first love. There is nowhere she would rather be than onstage sharing her voice and her songs with an audience. Her role as frontwoman and songwriter of the band Bad Pollyanna and Lead Female Singer in a professional functions band means that she does not have as much time as she would like to take on any other singing work. This year Olivia will spend most of her time doing contracted singing work in various countries with her functions band. However, Olivia warmly welcomes any opportunities and has, in the past, undertaken a huge variety of singing work including singing as a soloist at weddings, funerals, burlesque events, birthdays and anniversaries. She is also a proficient pianist and is especially keen to do work involving both singing and playing.

Olivia’s influences as a singer are quite eclectic to say the least. Her favourite singers are Kate Bush, Freddie Mercury from Queen, Skin from metal band ‘Skunk Anansie,’ Anne Wilson from Heart and opera singer Angela Gheorghiu. As a performer her main influences are Marilyn Manson and Tina Turner.
