My philosophy is that singing should be easy and sustainable and that interpretation and performance should be taught alongside technique, using confidence coaching if necessary. I have had voice training in Speech Level Singing and The Estill Method but choose not to be exclusive to one style. My method is based on years and years of study with some of the best teachers in the world and working as a professional touring musician. The approach is almost like that of a personal trainer in that your voice will be put through a fitness test and then a program- which includes vocal exercises- is ‘prescribed.’ Just like with a trainer you will be expected to then put in time outside of coaching to get the best results and value for money.
Can you make me a pop/ rock star?

When and where does coaching take place?
Hours vary from week to week depending on my schedule. Most of the time I will be able to see you within two weeks if you wish to have a private session on Skype or in Huddersfield. For workshops, classes, demo recordings or Showcase nights please enquire for availability.
Workshops, classes and showcases can be organised all over the country.
I can already sing. Do I need singing lessons?
Absolutely yes. I still have lessons. My teacher still has lessons. My teacher’s teacher still has lessons. The late great Michael Jackson had six hours of singing training a day in order to be world class and whoever your favourite singer is you can be more or less guaranteed that he or she has a voice coach. Ask anyone who has achieved greatness and they will tell you that the most talented people are those who never stop learning and growing. You may find my article ‘Do I Need a Singing Teacher/ Voice Coach If I Can Already Sing?’ featured on the Homepage informative reading.
Can you really learn to sing if you are an absolute beginner?
Yes. Of course it will take longer for you to get to where you may wish to be…but assuming that you are determined and enthusiastic enough you can get there. I recommend reading my article ‘Can ANYONE learn to sing?’ featured on the News Section.
